FinTS account retrieval: your transactions go into the system, not into your inbox.

The WorkOrderAgent fetches transactions directly from your bank via FinTS/HBCI, the German online banking standard. This works with almost any German bank. The system finds the connection address from the bank code (Bankleitzahl).

How to set up account retrieval

Sparkasse, Volksbank, TargoBank, DKB, Commerzbank, ING, Postbank and almost any other German bank.

  1. Choose your bankThe system finds your bank's connection address from the bank code.
  2. Select accountsThe system shows all accounts under your bank login. You add missing ones by ticking a box.
  3. AuthoriseAfter one authorisation, the WorkOrderAgent fetches transactions automatically every day for up to 90 days.

What retrieval brings with it

The transactions end up where they are needed: in the bank reconciliation of your accounting.

  • Automatic reconciliationNine passes match the fetched transactions to invoices, suppliers, loan instalments and advance payments.
  • Pending transactionsThe system shows transactions that have not been booked yet, if the bank supplies them. They stay separate from your accounting.
  • CSV import as a fallbackBank without FinTS? Upload the statement as a CSV. Duplicates with the FinTS retrieval are detected automatically.
  • Display-only accountsYou can fetch private or reserve accounts as well, without them ending up in your accounting.
  • No bank portal neededYou no longer have to open your bank's website to see transactions.
  • Stored securelyThe PIN is stored encrypted, and hosting is in Germany.
