Frequently asked questions

Do I need special cabling?

We recommend Ethernet, especially for telephony and synchronised multiroom audio. Wi-Fi is possible as an alternative. Each room needs a power socket and ideally a network socket.

What happens during a power cut?

The Audio Decks restart automatically when the power returns and reconnect to the server. The system runs read-only, so even a sudden power cut does not leave damaged configurations or file systems.

Can I use my own speakers?

Yes. Every Audio Deck has a built-in 25 W amplifier for passive speakers of your choice, from ceiling speakers to floor-standing speakers. You are not tied to any particular speaker system.

Which music sources are supported?

Common streaming services², local music collections such as on a NAS, web radio and Bluetooth devices. We clarify which sources make sense for you in a consultation.

How does installation work?

We discuss rooms and requirements in advance and deliver the devices preconfigured. If you wish, we handle installation and commissioning on site, including cabling and a handover briefing.

What does the Audio Deck cost?

Every installation is different: number of rooms, existing cabling, speakers and server. You receive an individual quote, billed by time and materials or as a monthly maintenance subscription.
