# Calendar sync with Outlook, iPhone and Google

What you plan in the WorkOrderAgent appears in Outlook, on your iPhone or in Google Calendar. Appointments created there come back into the system. Sync runs every 2 minutes.

## What is synced

You plan in the WorkOrderAgent and look at the calendar you are used to.

- Follow-ups as appointments: Follow-ups appear as appointments in Outlook or on your iPhone.
- External appointments: Appointments you create in your calendar program land automatically in the WorkOrderAgent.
- Address in the entry: The customer's address is shown as the location in the calendar entry, with a link to navigation in Google Maps for on-site appointments.
- Appointment types in colour: Remote support and on-site appointments are colour-coded in the calendar view.
- Recurring appointments: Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually, with a choice of weekday or day of the month.
- Confirmation to the customer: The customer automatically receives an appointment confirmation by email.

## Two routes to the calendar

Depending on where your calendars are today.

- **Sync with your calendar service:** You use Office 365, iCloud, Google or your own server such as Nextcloud or Radicale? Then you enter it as a CalDAV connection per company, and the WorkOrderAgent syncs both ways.
- **Calendar directly from the WorkOrderAgent:** The system also includes its own CalDAV and CardDAV server. Phone, tablet and computer then connect directly, without any other provider. More under [calendars & contacts](https://1x1it.de/en/workorderagent/caldav/).
