# Timesheets: time straight onto the invoice

## From job to invoice line

This is how a job runs on the smartphone.

- Open the order: Open the order on the smartphone and tap “Start job”.
- Timer runs: The clock runs in the background. One click is enough for a break.
- Record materials: Scan items on site or choose them from the catalogue.
- End the job: Press stop, add a note, submit.
- Create the invoice: On completion, everything from the timesheet is on the invoice.

## Settings per company

- **Hourly rate per employee:** Each employee has their own rate, so invoices are calculated correctly.
- **Different activities:** On site, remote support, travel time, workshop, each with its own hourly rate if you wish.
- **Minimum billing:** Rounded to the quarter hour or to the minute.
- **Several jobs in parallel:** For example when a programmer works for two customers at the same time via remote support.
- **Correct afterwards:** Forgot to press stop? Times can be adjusted, and every change is logged.
- **Export for payroll:** Monthly list of hours as XLSX. The invoice itself can go out as an [e-invoice](https://1x1it.de/en/workorderagent/e-rechnung/) if you wish.
