## What the system recognises

Recognition is based on the account transactions that banking provides.

- Fixed costs: Rent, insurance and subscriptions are recognised as recurring expenses and coded automatically.
- Utility instalments: Matching assigns instalments for electricity and other utilities automatically.
- Loan instalments: The instalment on the bank statement is automatically split into repayment and interest and booked.
