## What happens after a receipt arrives

- Receipt arrives: By scanner, email, drag and drop or upload. A monitoring service notices new scans within seconds.
- Text recognition: Tesseract reads the receipt in the background, even if it only exists as an image.
- Receipt recognition: Supplier, receipt number, date, amount and VAT are read from the text.
- Searchable: The text is available in full-text search, separately for each company.
