# Set up sync: five minutes per device

## How to set up a device

Three steps, then there is nothing more to do.

- Add an account: On Apple devices in the built-in settings, on Android via a free sync app, on a computer directly in Thunderbird or Evolution.
- Enter your login details: Address, username and password. It is the same login as in the WorkOrderAgent.
- Done: From now on, appointments and contacts sync in the background.

## What happens in the background

- Hands-free: Syncing runs by itself. You do not have to trigger anything.
- Separate for each client: Each client is synced on its own. If one fails, the others keep running.
- No copy to maintain: Appointments and follow-ups from order management appear on the device. You maintain them in one place only.
