Own server CalDAV

- **Appointments:** CalDAV (RFC 4791)
- **Contacts:** CardDAV (RFC 6352)
- **Location:** servers in Germany
- **Instance:** dedicated, isolated per customer
- **Connection:** HTTPS throughout

## Where your appointments and contacts are stored

- On your WorkOrderAgent server: The calendar server runs where your orders are stored. No additional account with another provider.
- Dedicated instance in Germany: Every customer gets their own isolated instance on a German server. No shared database.
- Encrypted in transit: All connections run over HTTPS. Certificates are renewed automatically.
- Separate for each company: Syncing runs separately for each company. If one fails, the others keep running.

## Open standard means you can get back out

- **No lock-in:** Appointments and contacts are stored in formats that any other program can read. Switching means no data loss. That is exactly why WorkOrderAgent uses CalDAV rather than a proprietary interface.
- **Replace an old server:** If an old groupware server is due for replacement, CalDAV takes over appointments and contacts on every device, without moving to someone else’s cloud.
- **Your program stays:** You keep the calendar you know. The system just supplies the data.
