## What we clarify with you before the start

These points belong on the table before the first integration is built.

- Where is the data processed?: Depending on the type of data, on your own hardware on your premises, on servers in Germany or with an AI provider under a data processing agreement. We show you the differences.
- Who may see what?: The AI adopts the permissions of your systems. If someone is not allowed to see something today, the AI will not show it to them either.
- What may the AI change?: At first, it only reads. We enable write steps one at a time, each with approval by a person.
- How does it stay traceable?: Requests, sources used and approvals are logged, so every answer and every action can be checked later.

## GDPR and EU AI Act

Using AI in your business comes with obligations. We help you keep track of them.

- Personal data: We connect only what the purpose requires and document the processing for your record of processing activities.
- AI literacy in your team: Since February 2025 the EU AI Act has required that staff who work with AI are adequately trained. We show your team how to use it.
- Transparency: Where the AI communicates with customers, it is clear that an AI is involved.
