## What the inventory does for you

The result: no more address conflicts, and no more guessing what an unknown device on the network is.

- Finds every device: A regular automatic scan picks up every device on the network.
- Clear names: Instead of cryptic identifiers, you give devices names you recognise. That is how they appear in your smart home.
- Fixed addresses stay reserved: Even when a device is switched off, its address stays reserved for it. Nothing is assigned twice.
- “First seen” history: You can see how long a device has been on the network. New devices stand out.
