## 1. At a glance

This website works without tracking, without analytics tools, without advertising cookies and without third-party content. Fonts, videos and the map software are hosted on our own server. We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate the site or where you give us data of your own accord, for example via the contact form.

## 2. Controller

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. If you have questions about data protection, write to us at the address above.

## 3. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, in a data centre in Germany. We have a data processing agreement with IONOS under Art. 28 GDPR.

When a page is requested, the web server automatically stores the following information in log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, the previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system. We need this data to deliver the site, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are not combined with other data and are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless a security incident needs to be investigated for longer.

All connections are encrypted with TLS. You can recognise this by “https://” and the padlock symbol in the address bar.

## 4. No cookies, only local settings

We do not set any cookies. So that the site remembers your settings, it stores up to three entries in your browser’s local storage (localStorage):

- theme: whether you chose the light or dark display. As long as you choose nothing, the site follows your device setting and stores nothing.
- sidebar: whether you expanded or collapsed the sidebar.
- consent: your decision about the map (see section 5), so that we do not ask again on every visit.

These entries do not leave your browser, are not transmitted to us and contain no identifier that identifies you. They serve only to provide a function you requested and are therefore permitted without consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). You can delete them at any time in your browser settings (“Clear site data”).

## 5. Map and route planner

On the contact page you can display a map and calculate the route to us. The map and route planner load only once you allow this via the notice on the page or in the settings. Without your consent you only see our address.

We do not use a third-party map service for this, but our own map server. When the map is displayed, your browser loads map tiles from this server, and your IP address is transmitted in the process. If you enter a starting point, it is sent to our server to find the address and calculate the route. We use these entries only for this calculation and do not link them to you as a person.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via the “Privacy settings” link in the footer of every page.

## 6. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, optionally company and phone number, and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The form stores nothing on the website. It creates your enquiry directly in our customer management system, the 1x1-WorkOrderAgent, which we run on our own server in Germany. From there we receive a notification by email. Your IP address is not transmitted in the process.

To protect against automated mass requests, your browser solves a small computational puzzle when submitting, and we count requests per IP address. For this purpose we store the IP address only as a one-way hash with a key that changes daily, and delete it after 24 hours at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a contact channel free of abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial or tax law) require longer storage.

## 7. Fonts, videos and downloads

Fonts, videos, images and downloads are hosted on our own server. When the page loads, no connection is made to Google, content delivery networks or other third parties.

## 8. Customer portal, shop and WorkOrderAgent

The customer portal, the shop and the 1x1-WorkOrderAgent are separate applications that we run on our own servers in Germany. You can find out which data is processed there in the respective application and in the [data processing agreement](https://1x1it.de/en/avv/).

## 9. Your rights

You have the right of access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal message to [info@1x1it.de](mailto:info@1x1it.de) is sufficient. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg (Brandenburg data protection commissioner), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow.

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
