# SIP phone system in the Audio Deck

> Every Audio Deck becomes a SIP extension, e.g. on a Fritz!Box or Asterisk. Hands-free calls with echo cancellation, caller names via CardDAV address book.

Every Audio Deck registers as an extension on your phone system, for example a Fritz!Box¹ or Asterisk. You make hands-free calls through the built-in microphones and see who is calling. Separate desk phones are not needed.

SIP phone system Audio Deck

- **Telephony:** SIP via baresip
- **Systems:** Fritz!Box¹, Asterisk, any SIP server
- **Talking:** hands-free, with echo cancellation
- **Callers:** shown by name, via CardDAV

## Take calls wherever you are

- Hands-free: Through the built-in microphones, with echo cancellation. Your hands stay free.
- Callers by name: The address book is synchronised via CardDAV, for example with our Radicale hosting. You choose the sync interval. Incoming calls show the name instead of the number.
- Registration at a glance: A green “OK” in the web interface shows that the extension is registered. If the registration drops, the device registers again automatically. Raw output is available for troubleshooting.
